Home > Information >Knowledge > Operating cost of a 50 ton biomass boiler
The 50-ton biomass boiler is mainly an assembled boiler or a bulk boiler, and the boiler types are chain grate boiler or fluidized bed boiler. The boiler is concentrated in these industries (i.e. chemicals, paper, food, refining, metals, power plant, CHP, district heating system).
Model: ZG-50/3.82-T
Rated evaporation (t/h): 50
Rated steam pressure (MPa): 3.82
Rated steam temperature (°C): 450
Feed water temperature (°C): 105
Design fuel: straw, rice husk, palm shell, peanut shell and other biomass
Model: SHX50-1.6-T
Rated evaporation (t/h): 50
Rated steam pressure (MPa): 1.6
Rated steam temperature (°C): 204
Feed water temperature (°C): 105
Design fuel: straw, rice husk, palm shell, peanut shell and other biomass
For a biomass boiler, the fuel cost accounts for 96% of the total life-cycle cost while water and electricity costs, maintenance costs and other cost usually account for 4%, respectively. The cost structure clearly demonstrates that the energy efficiency is the main cost driver.
The fuel consumption of a 50-ton biomass steam boiler operating at full load per hour is 8333 kg/h (4,500 kcal of biomass), so the cost of fuel is very large. 50 tons of biomass steam boiler configuration The motor power of all auxiliary machines is: blower power 62.5kw induced draft fan power 183kw make-up pump power: 15kw economizer pump power: 125kw loader power 9.17kw slag remover power 12.5kw unloader Power 18.2kw, other control lighting weak power estimation: 16.7kw. The total power is 342kw. During normal operation of the boiler, the actual power consumption is 0.65-0.7 times of the full load power. The theoretical value of a 50-ton biomass steam boiler is 50 tons per hour at full load. The actual use value during normal use is higher than the theoretical value, generally 1.1 times the theoretical value. The degree of automation of the boiler is high and the labor costs are basically negligible.
