Coconut husks have a moisture content of 9.4 ± 0.9 %. Ash content in the coconut shell did not exceed 1 % and fluctuated within 0.66 ± 0.109 %. The low ash content in the coconut shell turns out to be its great advantage, which increases its attractiveness among typical solid biofuels. The calorific value and the heat of combustion have the same value – 17308.68 J·g-1 and 18837.00 J·g. Among all the agricultural crop resources namely, rice husk, sugarcane biomass, maize straw, rice straw, coconut frond and leaves, coconut shell has the highest biomass quality and the most utilized.
ZBG combines domestic advanced technology and develops chain grate boiler and fluidized bed boiler according to the characteristics of different biomass fuel.
The chain grate biomass boiler is designed to arrange the secondary air in the furnace to disturb the flue gas power conditions, timely supplement the oxygen combustion volatiles, improve the thermal efficiency and reduce emissions. Circulating fluidized bed boiler adopts single-drum natural circulation, full-membrane water-cooled wall structure, good boiler sealing performance, wear resistance and long service life.
