In the specific biomass boiler purchase, there will be a case where the customer applies several types of products. At this time, the customer will compare the price, operating cost, performance, etc. of different boilers to make a choice.

When biomass boilers are running, they need to consume a lot of fuel, as well as hydropower resources, while also consuming human resources. The total operating costs includes fuel, electricity, water, chemical additives, labor, maintenance. Among them, the fuel cost will occupy about 90%. Therefore, when customers want to understand the operating costs of boilers, the most important thing is the cost of fuel.

  1. Fuel cost

Fuel cost = fuel consumption * fuel price. Biomass is widely sourced and resource-rich, and prices are relatively low compared to oil and natural gas. The fuel cost is also related to the overall efficiency of the boiler and the calorific value of the fuel. Overall boiler efficiency is based on combustion air supply at ambient temperature, and boiler feed water makeup temperature to the deaerator.

  2. The cost of electricity, water, chemical additives, labor

The specific electricity demand of biomass boilers is the electricity demand for all electric auxiliary. Electric auxiliary equipment mainly includes blower, induced draft fan, secondary fan, water pump, reducer and slag machine. The cost of boiler water and chemical substances is mainly related to the capacity of the boiler and the water fee. The labor cost is mainly the company investment of the furnace workers. The higher the automation of the boiler, the lower the labor cost

  3. Maintenance cost

The biomass boiler produced by ZBG is wear-resistant, anti-slagging and anti-corrosion. Long boiler life, long-term operation, easy maintenance and low maintenance costs
